Schedule: Full time, day shift

Minimum Job Requirements:

 

  • High School Diploma or GED (Required)
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Surgical Technology. We will accept a non-accredited school of Surgical Technology if hired prior to 2019 (Required)
  • Other Surgical Technologist Certification required Upon Hire Required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) BLS/CPR(Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers)

    Job Overview:

 

Apply specialized knowledge in various surgical procedures to expedite process and reduce patient risk. Assist in the preparation of the surgical area. Scrub, assist, and anticipate physicians' needs during surgical procedures.

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Entry‑level technical role focused on building confidence and skills in technical and operational areas.
  • Keeps all required surgical equipment ready, including sterile linens, saline, lights, suction machines, and related supplies.
  • Performs pre‑ and post‑operative patient care such as shaving, transporting, and applying dressings.
  • Sets up and maintains the surgical field, collaborating with nurses and physicians and assisting as needed; assembles, transports, and retrieves surgical equipment, ensuring all items are accounted for.
  • Inspects, maintains, decontaminates, and repairs surgical equipment while keeping inventory records current.
  • Solves straightforward problems within the scope of training and established procedures.
  • Relies on guidance and training from the supervisor and more experienced team members.
