Position based at Good Samaritan Hospital, with majority of work performed at Miami University at 501 East High Street, Oxford, OH 45056
Work Schedule:
- Full-time (80 hours biweekly) - 100% club sports

Job Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training (Required)
Master's Degree in Athletic Training (Preferred)
Up to 1 year experience in a related field (Preferred)
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Computer Application skills
Licensed Athletic Trainer Current Ohio Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Athletic Trainers’ Board Licensure Upon Hire Required
Job Overview:
This position operates at the contracted site to which the athletic trainer (AT) is assigned. The AT may perform any of the following job functions based on that site. AT is responsible for the coordination and management of athletic training services at the designated site. This may include program development and supervision, data collection, interpretation and submission, and marketing. The AT may be responsible for serving as a preceptor to university students and interns. All ATs must ensure high quality care for patients and clients. Under the supervision of a physician and outlined by the Board of Certification and Ohio Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Athletic Trainers Board, the AT will evaluate injuries and conditions, plan and administer treatment to obtain/conserve optimal physical function, make referral recommendations, give advice on reconditioning and activity modifications, demonstrate proper taping, bracing, strapping and equipment fitting, maintain proper documentation, and provide proper communication with patients, healthcare providers, families, coaches, and administration related to the patient's condition and follow up care. The AT will serve as a liaison between the department, site, and TriHealth. All ATs must maintain Ohio licensure in accordance to state requirements.

Able to perform duties and responsibilities in an efficient and independent manner.
Demonstrates the ability to prioritize and organize time by completing work efficiently.
