Job Overview:
This position is responsible for employee relations for assigned areas. This position is responsible for the following duties: day to day employee relations consulting with management and staff, investigation and resolution of workplace issues and related special project including education and departmental intervention assessment; and administer personnel policies including Employee Relations, Training and Development, Recruitment, Benefits Administration, FMLA and other special projects.

Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in human resources; or related field
Knowledge of employment law
1-3 years in a related field
Job Responsibilities:
Knowledge of policies and procedures; counsel's employees and managers on routine employee relations issues; policies and procedures are interpreted correctly and applied consistently, however allowing for appropriate judgment calls when necessary. Communicates clearly. Demonstrates service excellence. Returns voice mails and responds to emails by end of day received and resolves workplace issues in a timely manner. Timely is considered within 5 days 95% of the time. Stays abreast of Employment Law and HR policy changes.
Problem solving approach should incorporate needs of both the employee and management resulting, when possible, in win-win solutions. Addresses and resolves problems using sound judgment. Seeks direction from HR Leadership or Business Partner when appropriate or when discussion can assist with problem solving process.
Process and supply documentation for unemployment to the state of Ohio. Partner with legal and risk teams as appropriate, provide employment documentation and assist as needed on subpoenas or any litigation needs.
Assists in tracking compliance of TriHealth required trainings and or vaccinations etc. Working with leaders and owners of the work streams on next steps for team members that are noncompliant. Tracking trending as well as providing employee law guidance in policy development.
Rounding regularly with leadership of assigned region. Provide coaching to leader and or team members as needed. Identify trends and collaborate with the HRBP pf the assigned region.
Facilitate the interactive process for ADAA claims and approvals / denial. Have knowledge of FMLA law and partner with the LOA team as appropriate to assist team members and leaders on process and status.
