Sleep Disorders Center Supervisor

Assists Sleep Disorders Center Manager in overseeing daily operations of the Sleep Disorders Centers, including staff supervision, scheduling, recruitment, competency assessment, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance. Collaborates with providers and support staff to ensure safe, efficient, and patient-centered care while fostering staff engagement, professional development, and operational excellence. May provide direct patient care as needed.

Job Overview:

Under the direction of and in collaboration with the Sleep Disorders Center Manager, this position has 24-hour accountability for their areas of responsibility, including assisting in the oversight of all Sleep Disorders Centers. This encompasses execution of administrative and fiscal tasks, staff supervision, interviewing and hiring, staff competencies, human resource issues, service excellence, quality improvement compliance, and communication. Emphasis should be placed on creating a positive environment that fosters professional growth and retention while promoting team cohesiveness within the Sleep Centers. This position works closely with the Manager, Medical Directors, physicians, nurse practitioners, lead technologists and office coordinators to provide safe and efficient workflow with effective utilization of resources. This position will assist in policy/procedure development and implementation, and act as a role model, mentor and coach to ensure quality patient care. This position may also perform direct patient cares activities as assigned, requested or directed. 

Job Requirements:

High School Degree 
Equivalent experience accepted in lieu of degree
Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) 
Registered Sleep Technologist (RPSGT, RST, RRT-SDS)
Proficient is performing all types of Polysomnography Scoring sleep studies 
Knowledge and skill with sensors and devices used for sleep testing 
1-2 years experience Supervisor/Lead 
3-4 years experience Clinical
