Radiology Cardiac Cath Technologist

Under the direction of the Radiologist or Cardiologist and the Department Manager, they are responsible for the operation of highly technical state-of-the-art radiographic equipment. They are responsible and accountable for the patient outcomes in the Cardiac Cath/special procedures. Responsible for radiation safety practices in procedure rooms.

Location:

Bethesda North Hospital at 10500 Montgomery Road, Cincinnati, OH 45242 

Work Schedule:

  • Full-time, 80 hours bi-weekly
  • Day Shift 
  • NO weekends, holidays, or on-call commitment

Sign-On Bonus (Qualified external candidates only)

  • 2+ years of Electrophysiology / Cath Lab experience: $35,000 with a two-year work commitment.
  • Less than 2 years of Electrophysiology / Cath Lab experience: $17,500 with a one-year work commitment.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Associate's Degree in Allied Health
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) 
  • Unrestricted license from ODH
  • Understanding of aseptic technique 
  • Experience in a related field

 

Job Overview:
Under the direction of the Radiologist or Cardiologist and the Manager of Cardiac Cath/Special Procedures, position responsible for the operation of highly technical state of the art radiographic equipment. Position responsible and accountable for the patient outcomes in the cardiac cath/special procedures. Responsible for radiation safety practices in procedure rooms.
 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrates proficiency, competency and knowledge in diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures and their associated equipment through CBE's.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in the ongoing evaluation, documentation, and care of the patients and families.
  • Participates in unit QA and QC activities
  • Maintains accurate records through the completion of all paperwork.
  • Demonstrates organizational responsibility.
