Lab Tech Aide

In this role, you’ll support our laboratory team by processing specimens, verifying test orders, and ensuring accurate reporting of results. You’ll operate lab instruments, use our computer systems, and assist with customer inquiries to deliver exceptional diagnostic services.

Location: Bethesda North Hospital at 10500 Montgomery Road, Cincinnati, OH 45242

Work hours:

  • Optional, PRN
  • Shift Varies
  • Weekend rotation

Job Requirements:

  • High School Degree
  • Knowledge of laboratory terminology, Specimen handling, Data entry, Windows software, HIS and LIS
  • Up to 1 year experience in a related field

Job Overview:
This position is responsible for the following: performing a variety of procedures related to specimen processing; confirming the accuracy of test orders and appropriate specimen collection and reporting laboratory findings to the physicians and nursing personnel; facilitates the identification and isolation of pathogenic organisms and operates a variety of laboratory instruments; utilizes laboratory computer system in performance of duties. Other responsibilities include making and receiving telephone calls to/from customers of TriHealth to provide diagnostic laboratory services, gather necessary data for service and billing, and to answer questions and resolve issues.
