Job Overview:
This position is a two-year assignment for a graduate student of a Healthcare Administration program within an affiliated
college or university. The Fellow will be responsible for various projects throughout administration and the TriHealth
system. The Year 1 of Fellowship will be designed as a survey course of administration and leadership. During the first
year, the Fellow will work under the supervision of a senior leader and circulate throughout various departments to
assume administrative assignments that allow the Fellow to gain insight and learning relative to his/her study in
Healthcare Administration. By the end of Year 1, the Fellow is required to complete all of the graduation requirements for
the Healthcare Administration program to graduate. Year 2, the Fellow would be assigned a department position with a
single supervisor. During the second year, the Fellow will be responsible for projects in the area where he or she
would be assigned in order to gain deep focus within the discipline. During this year, the Fellow could also apply for
permanent positions at TriHealth.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Health Administration
Must have completed the didactic portion of the Master of Health Administration program
Microsoft Office Suite-Excel, Access, Word
Job Responsibilities:
Serves as a technical resource in the analysis and evaluation of the operational and financial functions of the
hospital, service line and specialty institute operations and business development initiatives.
Conducts in-depth statistical analysis and evaluation of operational indicators, identifies program/ service strengths
and weaknesses, business opportunities and financial impact.
Assists with the development and implementation of operational plans, procedures and systems; reviews and
evaluates current procedures and systems and develops recommendations for improvement and/ or change.
Identifies opportunities for service and program improvement and/ or further development. Develops special reports
and recommendations.
interprets and presents data analysis results including explanation of statistical and financial techniques used,
assumptions made and summary of results. Develops and documents methods of interpretation of results for future
reference.
Document and presentation and preparation for Management and Committee Reports, as well as analysis of
business development and operational initiatives.
Other projects as assigned.
