Works in beautiful Oxford, OH at Miami University Student Health Services - the clinic follows academic calendar working some Saturday's during the school year and mandatory low census during university breaks - great for those with kids or wanting time off during the summer or winter break.
This position will help manage patient registration, insurance processing/verification, medical records and patient call volume. Coordinate the results process by ensuring that results are mailed on a timely basis. The incumbent will work closely with billing to ensure the proper documentation is sent to the correct MCO, billing and company Workers’ Compensation departments. This will ensure quicker payment for services.
Job Requirements:
High School Degree
Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS)
Proficiency in Spelling, Grammar, Typing and Transcription skills
Accurate data entry skills
Basic mathematical skills
Communication and Interpersonal skills
3-4 years experience customer service or clerical

Our office is open Monday - Friday and Saturday during the academic year and Monday - Friday during breaks. Our office patient volume is determined by when Miami University Students are on campus. During summer break, winter break and spring break our volume is low and employee hours will be reduced.
