
Job Overview The IT Provisioning Engineer performs the granting of access to our computer systems for team members to perform the duties they are required to complete. Under minimal guidance of the Manager of IT Operations, this person will use the Identity Management tools to grant the proper access for each TriHealth Team member, Contractors, Physicians or Students who needs access to our systems. This person will have access to very sensitive areas of our network and applications and must use and follow all standard operations procesdures, policies, strict controls and secure modes of communication and work environment to avoid breaching of Confidentiality. Note: Restricted, compensated on-call is expected in this position on a rotation basis per the Information Systems Department Team member On-Call Policy Job Requirements Associate's Degree in Computer Science No equivalent experience for degree 3-5 years experience in Healthcare or Information Systems or equivalent combination of education and experience 4-5 years experience in Technical or Healthcare Information Systems Job Responsibilities: Other Job-Related Information: 1. Is involved in multi-disciplinary team approach for selection and implementation the provisoning of personel to our systems. With minimal supervision must translate customer needs into system requirements and grant the proper access to our systems 2. In support of existing application systems, will be confronted with eith I.S. or customer discovered systems failures. With minimal supervision will work with cutomers, other I.S. groups and vendors to diagnose and remedy the problem. Problems may involve patient safety and/or corprorate revenue loss which increases the importance of quick resolutions. 3. Must be able to handle multiple assignments simultaneously with minimal supervision, understanding the priority attached to each.
