Job Overview:
This position plays a vital role in ensuring seamless operations and compassionate care for participants. Responsibilities include clerical duties such as interpreting scheduling requests, organizing appointments and tests, and maintaining medical records for participants. Coordination across multiple departments—including nursing, transportation, and therapy—is essential, as is collaborating with external providers across diverse specialties. Strong interpersonal skills and respect for customers are key, alongside proficiency in telecommunication systems like Epic, Misys, and Outlook.
The role also entails assisting physicians in the examination and treatment of patients, including tasks such as interviewing patients, recording vital signs, and preparing treatment rooms. Cross-training is provided to enhance efficiency and deliver high-quality patient care. Other responsibilities include maintaining safety standards, medical record documentation, and environmental duties.

Work Hours:
- Full-time, 40 hours weekly

Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma in Healthcare.
- Clerical background with general computer skills and knowledge of medical terminology.
- Proficiency in EKG, injections, venipuncture, and common lab tests, adhering to CLIA guidelines and TriHealth policies.
- Experience in a medical/physician office setting.
- Medial Assistant Certified or Registered preferred but not required.
Job Responsibilities:
- Schedule specialist and routine appointments for participants, both internally and externally, ensuring accurate paperwork and timely communication.
- Coordinate participant schedules within nursing, transportation, and therapy at multiple sites.
- Communicate effectively with customers, providers, and departments to ensure efficient operations and exceptional customer service.
- Retrieve medical records from outside providers and ensure proper documentation for scanning purposes.
- Assist physicians in medical procedures, ensuring a smooth and thorough process for patient care.
- Demonstrate flexibility and initiative, participating in additional assignments to improve care delivery.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of treatment areas, adhering to principles of clean and sterile procedures.
