CLINICAL OFFICE COORDINATOR-OCCUPATIONAL MEDICINE: Under minimal supervision, this role will support the medical and clerical staff in our center. Responsibilities will include data entry, billing, record-keeping, correspondence, registration, answering phones and email inquiries. BWC, FMLA, DOL paperwork and occupational medicine medical records processing. This role will also provide direct patient care obtaining and documenting vital signs, phlebotomy and occupational medicine specialized activities including breath alcohol testing, drug screen collections, performing audiograms, pulmonary function tests, respirator FIT testing.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION: Graduate of an approved technical, professional, or vocational program Healthcare Medical Assisting
EXPERIENCE: 2-3 years Clinical Healthcare Medical Assisting
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE: Proficiency in medical assisting, EMR and office functions. Computer proficiency in MS Office, medical terminology, verbal and written communication, problem solving, customer service and independent thinker..
