CLINICAL INTAKE COORDINATOR-OCCUPATIONAL MEDICINE

CLINICAL INTAKE COORDINATOR-OCCUPATIONAL MEDICINE: This position will coordinate the patient visit from registration to sending visit information to employers and BWC representatives. Ensures patients are registered to the correct company and services, follow-up with employers on authorizations or questions, and prioritizes patient start times. The incumbent will work closely with billing to ensure the proper documentation is sent to the correct MCO, billing, and Workers' Compensation department to ensure quicker payment of service. Scans visit information to the proper EMR location and coordinates the results process ensuring results are sent in a timely basis. Assists with drug and alcohol testing and other non-invasisve testing as required to ensure efficiency and timely throughput. Assists with referral or testing scheduling as needed.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION: High School Degree Basic Life Support (BLS)
EXPERIENCE: 3-4 years medical/physician office setting or customer service
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE: Excellent customer service and communication skills; proficient in, spelling, grammar, typing, computer applications including Microsoft; accurate data entry skills; critical thinking.
