Messaging/Scheduling Supervisor is responsible for organizing and directing all tasks related to the TPP Consumer Connection & Access Department. This position has accountability for the achievement of service excellence, implementation of quality improvement initiatives, drives change related to quality/fiscal compliance, and expected to achieve defined service/team members productivity targets. These functions may include clinical automation, communication support, insurance verification, messaging, preregistration, registration, and scheduling. The Supervisor ensures team members meet service and operational standards. Emphasis should be placed on creating a positive environment that fosters professional growth and retention. While this position will have direct reports, the Supervisor works with physician access areas to ensure system wide consistency and ongoing collaboration. This position demonstrates a working knowledge of EPIC, and the incumbent must possess comprehensive knowledge of all messaging and scheduling procedures. The Supervisor must have meticulous attention to detail and work with a high level of accuracy. Identify and resolve issues that create barriers for TriHealth physicians and customers to access our services. The department provides services to a multitude of customers within & among sites. The expectation of participation in system wide access projects with management and team members of TPP to achieve system goals. Serves as an effective communication link with all departments/physicians, and proactively nurtures these relationships. They will act as gatekeepers to help ensure corporate policies and network rules are followed. Become skilled in Cadence of Epic to actively participate in process improvements efforts and work flow development.

 

EDUCATION: Associate's Degree or Diploma Oral & written communication, analytical, logic, reasoning, organization, customer service, computer skills. MSOffice. Patient scheduling, ideally Epic. Call center experience.
