TriHealth is actively recruiting for a Senior Epic Client Systems Administrator for our Epic Server Operations team. This is a remote position for candidates that are local to Cincinnati, Ohio

Job Responsibilities

  • The Epic Client System Administrator (ECSA) oversees Epic's applications, including Web BLOB, Interconnect, Rover, Haiku, Canto, HSW, Care Everywhere, FIPS, EPS, IVR, MyChart, and CareLink.
  • Upgrade and update production and nonproduction Epic Application Servers.

Responsibilities include:

  • Applying platform and Epic upgrades and updates to production and non-production Web server components
  • Working knowledge of Windows Server Administration
  • Perform capacity planning and performance management of critical servers and applications. Manage load configuration, tune software, and recommend purchase or upgrade of hardware
  • Create and maintain system documentation for specifications, designs, procedures, and logs. Document all processes, system changes/fixes, and issues.
  • Troubleshoot the system as an expert to identify any possible faults or potential issues.
  • Install and test new applications and upgrade. Provide application performance monitoring/tuning,
  • Design, build and maintain system interfaces. Support real-time and batch interfaces with internal and external systems and vendors.
    Perform file system management
  • Install and managing the application deployment platforms, administrative and monitoring tools, and integrated third-party software and peripherals.
  • Use performance metrics to monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
  • Apply platform and Epic upgrades and updates to production and non-production Web server components

To be qualified for this position, you must meet these minimum requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology
    • 4-5 years of experience in Information Technology or in a related field
    • Any of the following certificates?
    • ECSA101 - Epic Client Systems Administration – Hyperspace
    • ECSA102 - Epic Client Systems Administration - BLOB, Business Continuity Access, and Printing
    • ECSA105 - Epic Client Systems Administration Hyperspace Web,Interconnect, and System Pulse
    • ECSA110 - Epic Client Systems Administration: MyChart
    • ECSA115 - Epic Client Systems Administration: Care Everywhere
