This position works for Hospice of Cincinnati, Monday-Friday 8-hr days with great benefits and mileage reimbursement! 

STNA certification; Reliable transportation with active auto insurance; and good interpersonal /communication skills.  This position cares for homecare and long term care patients living on the Westside of Cincinnati.

STNA HOSPICE OF CINCINNATI: The primary role of the STNA is to provide direct patient care to Hospice of Cincinnati patients under the direction of a registered nurse. The STNA will assist with, and/or perform, basic activities of daily living, including bathing, feeding, assistance with ambulation, etc., and the STNA will serve as a provider of companionship and emotional support, even during times of crisis. The position is responsible for knowing safety policies and following approved procedures.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION: 2 years High School Education General Studies Age 17 with work permit.Successful completion of Home Health Aide competency skills checklist as required by Medicare regulations Basic Life Support (BLS) STNA Certification; Completion of Nursing Student Clinical Training is required upon hire.

EXPERIENCE:6 months Aide experience preferred not required
