SCHEDULING COORDINATOR AND MEDICAL ASSISTANT - DIVERSIFIED SERVICES: Performs clerical duties, including interpreting scheduling requests, scheduling appointments and/or tests and maintaining medical records for participants, both internally and externally with many different providers and areas of specialty. Coordinates scheduling of participants within multiple departments internally including nursing, transportation and therapy at three different sites. Has the interpersonal skill to communicate with respect and compassion to customers. Communicates information through various telecommunication devices including Epic, Misys and Outlook. Assists in coordinating participants flow concerning appointments and or tests. This position assists the physician in examination and treatment of patients, performing miscellaneous delegated duties under the direction of physician. This position also interviews patients, measures vital signs, such as pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height, and records information on patients' charts, and prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients. The position will be cross-trained to perform duties to enhance efficiency and continuity of delivery of patient care; work cooperatively within the team concept demonstrating flexibility, motivation and commitment to quality patient care. This position’s tasks include patient related duties, medical record maintenance/documentation, and safety/environmental duties.



EDUCATION: High School Degree; Healthcare

EXPERIENCE: medical/physician office setting

DEPARTMENT SPECIFICS: Experienced MA will have exposure to EPIC Health Record System, working with a highly productive team. A unique opportunity that may require travel between Montgomery and Western Ridge to schedule. West pod team members would need to be available to travel to the following sites:

GE Wellness –                    Evendale

Good Sam MOB –             Clifton

TPP Delhi -                          Delhi   (Full day).

Group Health                     Western Hills.

TPP Western Family –     North Bend Road


SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE: Clerical background with general computer skills and knowledge in medical terminology, EKG, injections, venipuncture, performance of common lab tests according to establish CLIA guidelines and TriHealth policy.
