PROJECT SPECIALIST-PRECISION MEDICINE: This leadership position is a provider with an advance healthcare degree (Board certified Genetic Counselor, Nurse Practioner, Physician Assistant, CNS Program) with completed course work and clinical experience in Genetics or Precision Medicine. This is a highly dynamic and collaborative position that will lead one or more clinical areas of precision medicine (Ex. Precision Oncology) with regard to leading and facilitating meetings, coordinating special projects, implementing quality improvement projects, and reporting outcomes.This position will be responsible for facilitating collaborations between precision medcicine team and other departments to reach common goals aligned with organizational goals of quality, service, growth and finance This role will be jointly responsible for identify new opportunities by way of vetting new technologies, laboratory testing, research opportunities and, in collaboration with Director and Precision Medicine Steering Committee, provide direction for the ongoing development of Precision Medicine. The provider will be expected to have a minimum of 20% clinical responsibilities which may include direct patient care, if applicable, or participation of clinical case review and triage, tumor boards, and/or multidisciplinary clinics. To be successful in this role, the provider must have excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION: Master's Degree Healthcare Graduate of Advanced Healthcare Degree (Medical Genetics, Genetic Counseling, Nurse Practioner, Physician Assistant, CNS Program) Board certified, if applicable (Genetic counseling, APN, PA) Board certified, if applicable (Genetic counseling, APN, PA); Demonstrated certificate coursework and CEUs in Precision Medicine
EXPERIENCE: 4-5 years Professional Healthcare Completed course work in genetics, precision medicine, or related field
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE: Demonstrated expertise in microsoft products, database programs, EMR reporting programs..
