OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST: Evaluates patients, plans for and provides therapeutic interventions in a transdisciplinary/team approach. Responsible for the communication and coordination of treatment programs with other team members including the patient/family. Directly supervises assistants, interns and other support personnel, participates in program developments, continuous improvement and clinical education; and provides in-services to staff, hospital personnel and the community. Will also be expected to be a member of a collaborative team which is patient focused, functional outcome based and patient/family centered.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• EDUCATION:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • BLS/CPR (Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers)
  • State Licensure
• EXPERIENCE:
  • Up to 1 year in a related field
• SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE: 
  • This position will be in the coverage of Adult inpatient acute care and occasional cross coverage into outpatient rehab.
• Preferred Experience (within last 5 years):  
  • 1 year of Inpatient Acute Care.  This experience may be from work and/or a recent quality clinical.
