Good Samaritan Hospital Float Pool is hiring Nursing Students to work as Patient Care Assistants and experience what is to work in different critical care areas and start their career at TriHealth.  We are looking for candidates who will embrace our mission of improving the health status of the people we serve. Nursing Students provide assistance and/or performs basic activities of daily living and specified treatments and procedures under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse. May perform non-direct patient care activities as assigned, requested, or directed.

Minimum Requirements: 

• Education:
  • High School Degree or GED.   
  • Completion of Nursing Student Clinical Training and should be currently enrolled in nursing school.
• Licensure/Certification:  
  • Current nursing student with first round of clinical rotation completed (verification from school will be required). 
  • BLS/CPR (Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers) - training will be provided upon hire.
• Experience: 
  • Currently in school in order to become a Registered Nurse.
• Specialized Knowledge:
  • Reading and math ability appropriate to the position.
