TriHealth is actively looking for a Nurse Manager II - Labor & Delivery at our Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. This position will report to the Director of Nursing for Perinatal Services, OB Float Pool, Cinti Fetal Care Team & NICU.

The Nurse Manager II  has 24-hour accountability for their area of responsibility. This accountability encompasses: patient care outcomes, service excellence, human resource issues, fiscal management, quality improvement compliance, and communication. Emphasis should be placed on creating a positive environment that fosters professional growth and retention. This environment is supported by this position acting as a role model and as a mentor and coach to the staff.

 To be qualified for this position, you must meet these minimum requirements:

EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Master's degree in related field with a BSN.  Master Degree in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
Certification within specialty area within two years of assuming position.  Current certification in area of expertise preferred.
NRP certified a plus.
BLS/CPR (Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers)
Registered Nurse in the state of Ohio
EXPERIENCE:
2-3 years of Progressive Leadership in Nursing required.
2-3 years of OB clinical experience (postpartum, high risk, or L&D) as Registered Nurse required.
