Job Description:This position will provide project, database and administrative support services to the Legal Department to ensure timely and accurate services are delivered to TriHealth team members, management and leadership. Job duties include document drafting and project management from inception, assignment, negotiation, timely completion/execution, organization/storage in appropriate database system thru life cycle and archival.  Responsibility for implementing upgrades or expansion of legal applications, generating database reports, legal invoice approval and processing bills for accounts payable, budget tracking, initiating work flows or templates, maintenance of closing documents for transactions, filing legal research and department resources, education/training of team members on use of legal applications as well as responding to the day-to-day questions or requests submitted to legal on a variety of health law-related matters. Administrative support duties as needed for attorneys (i.e., expense reports, calendar management, word processing, coordination of projects, registration for CLE, on-boarding staff, drafting or initiating templates, etc.).

Successful candidates will be familiar with legal operations specific to hospital and healthcare organizations, supporting in house legal functions and managing confidential/privileged information. Candidate should be a self-starter, able to work independently and take initiative to handle external and internal requests. Applicant must be skilled at interacting professionally and effectively with attorneys, physicians, executives, facility/corporate staff and external partners.

 

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION: Associate degree or Diploma.

Other EXPERIENCE: 3-4 years Clerical Business SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE: Microsoft Office Suites – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, TEAMS. Familiarity with Tract Manager’s MediTract Contract Database and/or Thompson Reuter’s Legal Tracker, a plus.
