ADVANCED PRACTICE NURSE (NEUROSCIENCE CRITICAL CARE):

Our Advanced Practice providers work side by side with our physicians as clinical colleagues. For this position, we are looking for an independent clinician with advanced education and clinical practice experience.
This position works in close collaboration with the entire multi-disciplinary team to establish realistic goals and a thorough plan of care for patients.
To be qualified for this position, you must meet these MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION: Master's Degree in Nursing Graduate from NP, CNS or midwife program Registered Nurse with APRN Licensure,
- Nurse Practitioner: A Master's degree in Nursing and graduation from an ANA approved Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Program. Three (3) years nursing experience. Current/valid APRN/RN license in the state of Ohio with prescriptive authority prior to start.
- Physician Assistant: Graduation from a Physician Assistant program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) or its predecessor agencies. Certification as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Current/Valid license in the state of Ohio with prescriptive authority prior to start.
EXPERIENCE: 3-4 years Clinical in Nursing Nursing practice in geriatric, occupational health, or other applicable setting.
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE: ACLS, FCCS and ENLS Certification preferred
PREFERRED: Minimum of five years experience in acute health care setting. Two years of experience with emphasis in critical care, specifically Neuro Critical Care.
SCHEDULE: 0700-1900 (includes Holiday/Weekend rotation; 40 hours clinical time per week, on average)
