Job Overview:
This position is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Logistics Management Department. Specific duties include scheduling, training, developing staff, and conducting performance appraisals, among other tasks. To be successful in this position one must understand the changing needs of the customer, and is be able to effectively deploy staff in order to meet these needs in a cost-effective manner.

Job Requirements:
Associate's Degree
Equivalent experience accepted in lieu of degree
3-4 years experience in a related field
Job Responsibilities:
Proactively interacting with all customers to ensure we are meeting the customers expectations and fulfilling their departmental needs.
Monitor the daily activity of the transport techs to ensure the staff is performing job specific duties in an efficient and timely manner, and upholding the Service Excellence Standard set by this organization.
Monitor the daily activity of the supply techs to ensure products and supplies are stocked and inventoried properly, satisfying the customer's request in a timely manner.
Handle staffing issues, when short, by adjusting the current staff or personnel, covering open positions

Lead monthly team meetings using meeting agenda template; review stoplight report; cascade key leadership messages.
