Schedule: Full time, evening shift

Minimum Job Requirements:

 

  • High School Diploma or GED degree (Required)
  • 3 - 4 years experience in a related field (Required)
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English, and to perform intermediate mathematical operations

    Job Overview:

 

Under general direction, this position performs supply and inventory control functions primarily to include monitoring usage of all supplies, PAR level establishment and maintenance, calculation order quantities, submitting orders, processing credits and adjustments, receiving storing, dispensing materials, and maintaining order in, and ensuring cleanliness of all storage locations. This position coordinates daily supply activities with management, Specialty Leaders and operating room.

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Adjusts par level minimums/maximums for assigned areas to maintain proper inventory levels; removes obsolete products and keeps handheld units updated.
  • Assists with product conversions and onboarding of new products into the system.
  • Coordinates with vendors to return outdated or obsolete items for credit.
  • Helps manage supply budgets by keeping inventory levels appropriate for department needs while minimizing excess.
  • Identifies and resolves inventory issues such as backorders, substitute product needs, and system inconsistencies.
  • Performs inventory management tasks including accurate ordering, proper storage, checking for outdates, rotating stock, and ensuring supplies are reordered as needed.
  • Maintains a clean, orderly, and well-labeled supply area.
