Bethesda North Hospital seeks to hire a Patient Care Assistant  who will embrace our mission of improving the health status of the people we serve. Job Summary:

This position provides assistance and/or performs basic activities of daily living and specified treatments and procedures under the direct supervision of the nurse. May perform non-direct patient care activities as assigned, requested, or directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Education:
  • 2 years High School Education or graduate of an RN degree program, pre-NCLEX.
  • Age 17 with work permit.
  • Successful completion of OH Dept of Health Nurse Aide Training Program w/ a current STNA certificate required of all candidates. BLS/CPR (Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers) STNA Certification only required upon hire
• Licensure/Certification:
  • BLS/CPR (Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers)
  • Active and current STNA Certification required upon hire
• Experience:
  • Healthcare experience preferred but not required
• Specialized Knowledge:
  • Reading and math ability appropriate to the position.

* $2,500 sign-on bonus requires a 12-month work commitment and only for external qualified candidates.
