SUPERVISOR AMBULATORY LABORATORY - WESTERN RIDGE - FULL TIME, DAY SHIFT

SUPERVISOR AMBULATORY LABORATORY: This position is responsible for the supervision of MT's, Lab Processing Techs and Lab Assistants on all shifts including scheduling, duty assignments, quality control, productivity, maintenance and repair of equipment. This position manages overall laboratory operations, performs duties of Medical Technologist as needed, and works effectively and pro-actively with all managers and supervisors. This position has budget responsibility for operating expenses and also responsible for continuous improvement on all shifts and staff development.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• EDUCATION:
  • Graduate of an approved technical, professional, or vocational program American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) Medical Technologist (MT) or Equivalent Certification
• EXPERIENCE:
  • 3-4 years CAP accredited laboratory
• ​​​​SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE:
  • leadership experience is preferred, not but required
