LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE-STAFF-DIVERSIFIED SERVICES: This position assists physician and/or registered nurse in providing clinical care and/or supervising care delivered by medical assistants and collaborates with physicians and other health care team members in meeting patient/family needs. This position also implements the plan of care by providing direct basic nursing care in accordance with the LPN scope of practice set forth in the Nurse Practice Act and contributes to the evaluation of patient responses to nursing care and documents in an accurate and timely manner.


EDUCATION: Graduate of an approved technical, professional, or vocational program in Nursing BLS/CPR (Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers) Licensed Practical Nurse Current RN licensure is also acceptable.

EXPERIENCE: 1-2 years in a related field

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE: Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.

DEPARTMENT SPECIFICS: Allergy office, nursing experience, and Epic experience preferred. Needs to be able to work in a fast paced environment, focused, compassionate, proactive, and attentive to serving the needs of our pts, our team, and Trihealth. Excellent attendance, reliability, and customer service is required. Qualifications and tasks involved but not limited to: Obtaining Allergy injections (primary task), vitals, peak flows, spirometry, skin testing, venipuncture skills, rooming pts, responding to emergency situations, assisting in challenges, nebulizer tx, patient teaching, triaging calls, scheduling, explaining lab results and processes, addressing paperwork, prior auths, and scanning. Needs to have good computer and typing skills. Willing to travel to 2-3 centers area. Needs to be able to arrive at 730am if scheduled. Needs to able to stay until pts are taken care of - could be up to 630 p on certain days. No weekends or holidays. Adheres and respects corporate policies. Maintains a positive respectful team environment and adhering to best practice standards. Main target centers Beechmont and Western Hills.
